Our view

Some buyers want a shop that already works: an experienced team, proven processes, qualifications and customer relationships. Avior bought Brematech for its machining capacity; Groupe Meloche bought Aérospatiale Hemmingford to expand its production capacity. It is not true of every shop: idle capacity or unprofitable work does not draw the same interest.

What you will be asked to show

Your margins by customer and by job, who runs the shop when you are not there, the age of your machines and the investments ahead, your qualifications, and how profitable your order book is.
