Moses Bendayan, CFA, founded Tribal Capital to advise Quebec business owners on selling, transferring, acquiring and financing their companies.
Over 20 years on every side of the table.
I owned and sold a software business. I understand the work, attachment and questions behind a sale price. I also spent several years in the United States working with family offices and private equity firms. After more than 20 years in the field, I chose to devote that experience to entrepreneurs in the province where I grew up and still live.
I have also sat on the other side of the table, on the private equity team at National Bank. We invested in 18 companies and reviewed hundreds more. I know how a fund values a business and what it checks before it buys, because that was my job.
I am also a Managing Director at 1858 Capital Partners, an M&A advisory firm based in Winter Park, Florida. Tribal Capital and 1858 Capital Partners are separate entities.
